IMPORTANT NEWS ALERT: What does "new" really mean? Do you have to pay retail to get something "new"? The answer is "NO". Read on to find out what new really means: The question really is-Can you make a difference IN YOUR SPENDING by changing the way you think? The purpose of this site to get away from retail pricing and back to exchanging goods and services or recycling what we have through bartering. This is an online community for people who want fair pricing and want to save money. It is for those of us who also understand that "new" is a relative term that only benefits retailers. Let's explore how. Your "old" can actually be someone else's "new". As consumers we need to take back our economic power by bartering with other consumers and cut out the profit hungry conglomerates that have us caught up in their definition of "new". Their definition perpetuates the spending cycles of high priced goods by making us believe they are disposable after a short time period AND NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH SOMETHING "NEW-ER". Think about it, the life of computers, cell phones, videos games, even books that have already been read, are dictated in most cases by retailers or mega corporations. So what do you do with them when you're done? Have you ever thought those "old" items can be "new items" to someone else? Take a minute to think about it......I'll wait....... This is a GREAT community where you can BEG, BARTER,or BUY almost anything! We promise that we are NOT now nor will we ever be an auction or a listing site with a ZILLION crazy post! Folks with potato chips that look like Lincoln and people looking for companions or puppies or tickets for sporting events and concerts have a place to go to list. That one's a doozy, right? 90% of people feel that way at one time or another. They don't think they have the resources or time to make a difference. Cluttered basements, closets and garages are a treasure chest of "Stuff" other people could use and it would be "new" to them (remember our NEWS ALERT?) CAMERAS, COMPUTERS,  BOOKS, EQUIPMENT, AUTO PARTS, GAMES, TOOLS, CLOTHES,etc are examples of recyclable items. Can you offer these items to barter at a reasonable price or even give them away to someone who needs them? How about all those gift certificates family and friends have given you that you'll probaly never use? Instead of losing them in a drawer why not see if someone else could use them! Name your price and someone out there, who values the "quick deal", has it for that  price AND wants to sell it to you. SELLERS become "barterers" here and should be open to "instant sales". You have a price but you are willing to barter. Here, if needed, you can have an unadvertised "instant sale" on the item which means it's just between you and the person who contacts you to barter or buy. Remember, this IS NOT an auction site. Unlike auction sites or other listing sites, our site is all about people connecting to people in a down to earth way. Not just for profit but really having an open market to exchange goods and services and help others when you can.
Be creative. Don't just "list" it, make people feel what you have or need is worth reading the post! How creative can you be to get people to listen? We want people to stop by to read the lastest posts because the post ARE funny, heartfelt or sincere, even if the people stopping by aren't begging, bartering or buying that day. They'll remember to stop back by or refer the site to someone who may have something that someone is looking for! Our goal is to cater to the people like us, who love a bargain but don’t have the time or patience to deal with "schlepping" to yards sales on weekends or flea markets or spend hours on auction sites to  look for bargains. The people with tons of surplus stuff that is jamming basements. closets and garages like exercise equipment, tools, baby clothes or furniture, DVDs and books (sound familiar?). If you are like us and don’t have the time or the patience, as a buyer or a seller, to go to or to organize yard sales, flea markets or to search the internet or wait for an auction to finally end, come aboard at BEG BARTER OR BUY.
